Child Safety Standards

Zero Tolerance Policy

Litterboxd maintains a zero tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content that exploits or endangers children. We are committed to ensuring our platform is safe and never used to harm minors.

Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on Litterboxd:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
• Content that sexualizes minors
• Content that promotes or glorifies child exploitation
• Grooming behaviors or attempts to solicit minors
• Any content that endangers the safety of children

Detection and Enforcement

We take proactive measures to detect and remove prohibited content:

• User-generated content is subject to review and moderation
• We maintain reporting mechanisms for users to flag inappropriate content
• Violations result in immediate content removal and account termination
• We reserve the right to ban users permanently without warning for CSAE violations

Reporting

If you encounter any content on Litterboxd that violates these standards, please report it immediately:

• Use the in-app reporting feature on any content
• Email us at safety@litterboxd.org

All reports are reviewed promptly and treated with the utmost seriousness.

Cooperation with Authorities

Litterboxd cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation. We will:

• Report identified CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
• Preserve and provide relevant data to law enforcement when legally required
• Assist investigations to the fullest extent permitted by law
